The community arena is located at 340 N Friberg Avenue and is adjoined to the Roosevelt Education Center.
The community arena has two NHL sized sheets of ice, which allows for hockey and figure skating. The Parks and Recreation offices are also located in the main lobby area.

In addition to being equipped for many sports events, the flooring and overhead doors in both arenas make it conducive to exhibits, trade shows and other special events.
Seating in the main arena is for 870 people, including wheelchair accessibility. The north arena has a seating capacity of 324 and wheelchair seating.

- Skate pushers are available on a first-come/first-serve basis for those that are learning to skate
- No hockey sticks or pucks are allowed on the ice during this time
- Skate sharpening is currently unavailable at the Community Arena. Fergus Home & Hardware does offer skate sharpening.
