With the passing of the city sales tax in November 2022, DeLagoon Complex and Campground area will be undergoing a major renovation and adding many upgrades to the area.  See design plans below.

PEBBLE BEACH IS NOW OPEN!

Lifeguards are now on duty 7 days a week 1:30-5:30 (weather permitting)

Please do not leave young children unattended and please follow the rules that are posted at the beach area.

We now have 2-disc golf course available for you to enjoy!

There is a 27-hole disc golf course is located in DeLagoon Park and a 9-hole disc golf course is located in Roosevelt Park

Community Garden
Community garden plots are roughly 20' x 40' each

They are located on Peck Street near the railroad tracks and City Shop buildings. 

The cost is $30 per plot for city residents.

Skate/Bike Park
A skate/bike park is located in Roosevelt Park near Kennedy Secondary School.
The park is open school days from 3 pm-7 pm and non-school days from 10 am-8 pm.
The park is under 24 hour camera surveillance.

Park Shelters
Park shelters operate on a free, first come, first served system except when reservations are posted. If you are planning a special event, we recommend reserving the shelter to guarantee you have it.

All facilities can be reserved 12-months in advance and all rentals are for the day. 

Park picnic shelters may be reserved for $50.00/day.  

The Pebble Lake Picnic Shelter (PLPS) can be reserved for $200.00/day, which includes a $25.00 refundable deposit.   

The Riverfront Pavilion is $250.00/day, which includes a $100.00 refundable deposit. (see rules & guidelines information sheet below)

Community Arena

The community arena is located at 340 N Friberg Avenue and is adjoined to the Roosevelt Education Center. 

The community arena has two NHL sized sheets of ice, which allows for hockey and figure skating.  The Parks and Recreation offices are also located in the main lobby area.

In addition to being equipped for many sports events, the flooring and overhead doors in both arenas makes it conducive to exhibits, trade shows and other special events.

Seating in the main arena is for 870 people, including wheelchair accessibility. The north arena has a seating capacity of 324 and wheelchair seating.
