Fergus Falls "Old Timers" Hockey League (Tuesday evenings)
This league is offered on Tuesday evenings starting November 5. This league is open to anyone age 35 or older OR anyone who likes this pace.

Friday Adult Lunch Hour Open Hockey
Lunch Hour Hockey is open to Men & Women ages 18 and over that wants to do a pick-up game of hockey or work on their skills. Helmets are required and other protective gear is suggested.
Lunch Hour Hockey runs 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on Friday's starting November 15, 2024 thru February 21, 2025. No registration is required, just come and play. It's FREE!

ARENA SCHEDULES:
Arena Schedule 2024-2025 (November 2024) (REV 11-4-24)
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: If school is cancelled due to inclement weather the Fergus Falls Community Arena is also closed. Inclement weather is defined as weather which causes School District #544 to close or cancel school on school days. Inclement weather, on non-school days, is defined as weather which causes road closures, closure of other public facilities, snow or other declared emergencies, or other extreme and unsafe conditions due to weather. The city will consult with the various user groups if necessary to make a joint determination on closure.
OPEN PUBLIC SKATING:
Open Public will again be offered during the 2024-2025 skating season.
We will offer Wednesdays from 1-3 pm starting October 23, 2024 and Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm starting October 27, 2024. There will be other times added when ice time is available so, please be sure to check the arena schedule.
- No skate rental is available
- Skate pushers are available on a first-come/first-serve basis for those that are learning to skate
- No hockey sticks or pucks are allowed on the ice during this time
- Skate sharpening is available at the Community Arena - cost is $5.00

Kids Kamp
Kids Kamp is a summer program of fun-filled activities for children age 5 who will be entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Kids Kamp is held at the Fergus Falls Community Arena and the hours are 7:15 am - 5:15 pm Monday thru Friday.
Reservations for this summer program will be available by registering on-line beginning at 8:00 am on April 1, 2025. Children can sign up for one session or all 5 sessions.

Martial Arts
"Learn the Korean Martial Arts of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido." All ages will gain self-confidence, improve fitness, learn self-defense, become more self-disciplined and have fun!
Classes are taught at the YMCA by Master Doug Gray, 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do

High Performing Senior Athlete Program
For athletes entering Grades 7-12
Athletes will train FIVE days a week. You are welcome to come at a time that works for you.
Weight room hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Training Programs: Sport specific and individualized programs are available….Programs include strength training and SAQ drills… Nutrition information is also provided!
Total Athlete Program for 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Athletes
Young athletes learn how to do the basic lifts with bars, dumbbells, and machines. Proper technique and the right load are emphasized! Young athletes will also do speed, agility, quickness, jumping, and flexibility work...A great program for youth athletes that want to learn how to train, improve as an athlete, and learn how to WORK HARD!
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2 pm for those entering 4th & 5th grade. For those entering 6th grade you will also meet on Tuesday and Thursdays from 2-3 pm.
Participants in this program MUST attend an orientation session prior to starting.
Tennis
Summer Tennis Lessons are offered for participants entering grades K-12 who wish to enhance their skills or to learn the game.
All lessons are held at Broadway Tennis Courts for the following levels:
- Beginners: Grades K-2
- Intermediate: Grades 3-5
- Advanced: Grades 6-8
- High School Boys
- High School Girls

Track and Field
Learn the fundamentals of Track & Field through various drills and activities including running, jumping and throwing. Program is offered for kids entering Kindergarten thru 6th grade and will held at the Kennedy School Track.

All Comer's Track Meet - Date for 2025 TBD
The All-Comer's Track Meets is open to those entering kindergarten thru adult. All activities will be age appropriate, and the event will be held at the Kennedy School track. The meet will be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
- Registration begins at 5:00 pm the day of the meet
- FEE: K-12 $5.00 / Adults $10.00
Golf
Tots Golf :
This program is for boys and girls ages 5 and under and will introduces participants to the game of golf. Classes cover the basics motions of the golf swing, introduce putting, and cover the basic etiquette and rules of golf.

Golf Camp:
Participants are introduced to a variety of instructional topics, rules and etiquette needed to start out right. Time will be spent helping players develop core fundamentals along with lessons.
Friday tee times will be made available for those who are ready to be on the course. These tee times are an additional $7.00 unless you have a membership and will depend on course availability.

Volleyball Camp
This one-week summer volleyball camp is for those wishing to advance their skills in the game of volleyball. Participants will focus on skills and drills, as well as mini-competitions and games.

Baseball
We offer 5 levels of youth baseball for boys and girls. Due to declining enrollment numbers we are no longer able to offer a girls toss level, but girls are welcome to play on any of the levels below. For all levels it is their age as of May 1, 2024. In fairness to all, please register for the appropriate age level.
- Rookies: introduction to the fundamentals of throwing, catching and batting off a tee (ages 4-5)
- This level plays Friday mornings at either 9:00 or 10:30 am (June 7 - July 26)
- D-I (T-ball): fundamental skill development with participants using a tee for batting (ages 5-6)
- This level play Monday & Wednesday mornings at either 9:00 or 10:30 am (June 3 - August 2)
- D-II (Toss): fundamental skill development with the coaches pitching to the participants (ages 7-8)
- This level play Tuesday & Thursday mornings at either 9:00 or 10:30 am (June 4 - August 2)
- Minors: introduces participants to pitching and league format (ages 9-10)
- This level play Monday & Wednesday evenings at either 5:30 or 7:00 pm (June 3 - August 2)
- Practices are determined by the coaches.
- Majors: participants pitching with an emphasis on player skill and development (ages 11-14)
- This level play Tuesday & Thursday evenings at either 5:30 or 7:00 pm (June 4 - August 2)
- Practices are determined by the coaches.
- Girls Fastpitch Softball: This league is offered through the Fergus Falls Softball Association. They will focus on learning the techniques of throwing, hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching with upper levels also focusing on advanced competitive play (ages 8-18 divided into 10u, 12u, 14u or 16u/18u teams). Teams will practice locally but may play with out-of-town leagues so there will be some travel involved. Typically, this league plays weekly double header games.

- Competitive Traveling summer youth baseball: This league is offered through the Fergus Falls Youth Baseball Association. Once teams are selected, they will play 20-40 games against surrounding community teams and some weekend tournaments. Teams are coached by experienced coaches and all practices will be determined by the coaches and held locally.
