Quilted Upcycling

Grades 7th - 12th
Limit: 18 participants

In this workshop, participants will learn quilting appliqué techniques (with glue or by hand sewing) to update a used shirt or sweatshirt. Bring a cotton-based shirt that needs a little creative inspiration, fabrics and threads will be provided as well as some thrifted shirts to embellish. Instruction will include guided prompts to help you narrow in on your creative clothes mending journey.
