Award-winning author Cary Griffith will discuss the 1999 blowdown in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Griffith interviewed over 100 people who survived this historic event. His book “Gunflint Falling,” features the personal stories of people before, during and after the storm. He is also the author of the Sam Rivers Mystery series, set in Minnesota.

Griffith will sell his hardback books for $20 and paperback books for $15, cash or check only.
